HR tech company Varbi is now continuing to expand its operations outside the Nordic region by opening an office in the Netherlands. Varbi already has a customer base in the country as well as a partnership with Centric, the Netherlands’ largest privately owned IT company with a comprehensive platform of SaaS services in HR.
– This is a natural and good step for us to be present and be closer to our Dutch customers, says Magnus Mollstedt, CEO of Varbi.
Since 2007, Varbi has been developing the cloud-based recruitment tool Varbi Recruit, which is currently used by more than 50,000 recruiters and managers from 500 different companies, municipalities, authorities, regions, organizations and leading universities in the Nordic countries and the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, for example, there are customers such as the large national TV company NOS and Lagardere Travel Retail.
– When we were deciding on a location for our office in the Netherlands we eventually chose Utrecht as it is a good hub which easily accessible from all over the country; it is not for nothing that Utrecht is called the heart of the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a very mature market where our SaaS solutions in recruitment can offer customers great added value, says Nick van der Meer, Sales Manager for the Netherlands at Varbi.
Varbi has invested a great deal in developing a recruitment system that supports complex recruitment processes, which can now be a support for more universities and organizations in the Netherlands for their recruitment work.
– We already know that our product works very well in the Nordic market, but it is great to now confirm that the Varbi recruitment system works very well in the Dutch market as well. Our focus has long been on international companies, the public sector and universities, which is reflected in the system of important functions for large organizations, and a focus on high security and GDPR adaptation. We are now investing in the Netherlands and have hired several Dutch colleagues. Our new office in Utrecht is an important step in our goal to become a leading player in the Netherlands as well, continues Magnus Mollstedt.
During 2020, the focus is on continuing to grow in the Netherlands with the goal of becoming the natural choice when it comes to cloud-based recruitment system support. Just as in the Nordic countries, international companies, the public sector and universities are major and important target groups for Varbi.
